The Resistance!

Yes, as what was written at the title, The Resistance. The Resistance is the latest studio album from the British alternative rock band, Muse. I bought it just now, and I thought it only consists of 1 CD. When I was home I realised that there are actually 2 discs, 1 CD and 1 DVD.

It is very hard to get a shoot without much reflection, so it ended up like this, anyway, clockwise from the top left : Disc case, the booklet, CD and DVD.

My First Keyboard Instrument

Yes, I finally received my first keyboard instrument, well not today but last Saturday. I didn't think about posting it on my blog until now. And for the sake of updating my blog, it's here now.

The musical instrument that I had just received, is an electronic organ. It was left in one of my aunts' house many years ago because another aunt of mine migrated to another country and did not want to bring it along. Hence I do not know its actual age. I think it was bought about 10 years ago, but its condition is still pretty good. Anyway it did not come with the stool.

I had been playing the guitar for years and I always wanted to learn to play the keyboard instrument. I was thinking of getting a keyboard so I talked to my parents about this, and this was the time my mother suggested me to request for this organ as it was likely to be left in my aunt's house, unused.

Anyway, this is the organ.

Well, honestly I will prefer the sound of a piano than that of an organ, but never mind, I think I'll just use this for the time being. xD

First Post of the Year XD

Hmmm.. It had been quite sometimes since I updated my blog. In fact, I don't even know what's the point for me this blog up to date. I'm just too lazy to update it. xD

Anyway, I think that I did something good, well not for the society but at least for one individual.

My friend and I somehow exposed a little bit of the truth of the society to this friend of mine, who always thinks that the world is perfect that no one does the wrong thing, and you'll only see criminals in drama series. I feel, it's good to trust one another, but always remind yourself that, the people around you may not think like the way you do. Of course, I'm not telling you to betray your friends before they do anything to you, but, at least, be aware that others may do that to you. I would say, somehow, this world is not fair anymore, people who does the good deed may not get something as good as he expected.

Take a look at our world, carefully. You'll understand what I'm trying to say.

Life

Hmmm... This is the forth month since I updated my blog for the last time. I'd been busy and lazy to update it (lol) and I finally decide to do so because I'm being forced to do so by a friend of mine (LMAO).

Here, let's talk about what I did recently. Well, my parents bought me a graphic card, Nvidia Geforce 8600. With that, I started my gaming life on PC again. I was addicted to one of the famous games, Assassin's Creed, which is pretty interesting that you can complete your mission in anyway you favour. You can choose to assassinate your target in an open fight or sneak behind him stealthly and send him to doom by using your hidden blade. It's very interesting for those who like stealth games. Another nice game is Splinter Cell : Double Agent, where you are asked to hack into others' server and obtain information, assassinate targets etc. If you can complete your mission without arising alert from the opponent, you will get higher stealth score.

Other than computer games, I'm actually addicted to Rubik's cube too. Rubik's cube is a common toy, but not many people really learn how to solve it. It requires logical thinking, and it can be pretty brainstorming. Solving it is nothing since you can learn the methods of solving the cube from the internet. What really challenges people is to solve it as soon as possible. It requires a lot of practice, especially the fingering. A friend of mine told me that he saw his friend solved 3 cubes in 30 seconds! Which means he takes only 10 seconds on each cube.

Well, basically these are the 2 major things I did in these few months. But of course, I still stick to my guitar. Haha... Erm, expect the next post in...... another few months? Haha..... Let's see...... =)

The time is creeping slowly. So many things are undone, waiting for me to complete them. The hardest exam in my life (probably), STPM is about 10 months (or so) away from me. Guess it's really time for me to start preparing for it. Yet, I could hardly find any extra time for me to start. Is this an excuse? Let's hope that it is, and stop giving that excuse and start working.
